MEASUREMENT AND LAST SCULPTING
The beautiful journey The process of crafting our client’s dream shoes, starts with sculpting their feet’ shape into a wooden mould called last. We ensure not only the perfect fit of the shoe but to provide a shoe crafted perfectly for all your arches and points. Our master last maker traces and measures our client precisely by measuring the uniqueness of each feet. They make sure to note every arch detail and prominent bones. These measurements then take the shape of a wooden mould of their feet. Our master last maker starts with a wooden block and shapes it according to the measurements and the design with a special knife. Every client gets assisted by one of our skilled artisans who would guide them through the beautiful journey.

Now that the measurements and last is ready the artisans from the Bespoke team gets on the roller-coaster trip to your dream shoe. Considering the measurements from the finished last, the patterns are made according to the design of our client. Just like our master last maker, our pattern engineers are also highly skilled in converting ideas to patterns and patterns to shoes. Pattern making goes through several steps perfecting them in each one to bring out the final patterns. The final pattern has several components like wingtip, toecap, vamp, quarter, counter, etc. Patterns play a major role in the fit and design of the final shoe, thus extra care is taken while crafting them.

Moving to the next step, now our client gets to play the lead while our artisans guides them through the weight, quality, and pliability of the leather. Having established relationships with several ethical tanneries, we provide our clients with a wide range of high-quality hides to choose from. Along with the material our clients choose their soles and accessories from our collection of premium materials for their shoes.

Our cutter’s hand cut the leather after tracing the patterns with a clicking knife. Our skilled artisans make sure to carve smooth and perfect edges for your perfect pair. We have tried to master the art of memory creation as our artisans try their best to create a story for you through all the intricate steps of shoemaking.

It’s time now to change their exquisite imagination to reality, it’s time now to cut the materials to the shape of perfect patterns. Our cutter’s hand cut the leather after tracing the patterns with a clicking knife. Our skilled artisans make sure to carve smooth and perfect edges for your perfect pair. We have tried to master the art of memory creation as our artisans try their best to create a story for you through all the intricate steps of shoemaking.
TRIAL FITTING
Our artisans take the patterns, last, and accessories to the closing department to stitch the leather pieces of a dream together. Before stitching our skilled artisans carve brogues, punches, piping, trims, fixes lining, etc, according to the client’s specifications. They sew all the patterns together along with the accessories to complete the final upper. After the upper is ready we call our client for the fit trial. If our client encounters any issue with the fitting, we go back to last modification by taking the measurements again. If the fitting is perfect, then our artisan hands over the completed upper to the maker.
TRIAL FITTING
Our artisans take the patterns, last, and accessories to the closing department to stitch the leather pieces of a dream together. Before stitching our skilled artisans carve brogues, punches, piping, trims, fixes lining, etc, according to the client’s specifications. They sew all the patterns together along with the accessories to complete the final upper. After the upper is ready we call our client for the fit trial. If our client encounters any issue with the fitting, we go back to last modification by taking the measurements again. If the fitting is perfect, then our artisan hands over the completed upper to the maker.
CONSTRUCTION
Now that the upper is complete, the bespoke last and the finished upper moves to the hands of our maker. Our maker is responsible for the lasting process and forming the final shoe along with adding stiffeners and puffs to retain the silhouette of the client’s dream shoe. The upper is then tacked to the last moulded with the insole. Our makers use two type of construction, cemented and Goodyear welted depending on the demand of the client. After cement lasting, the selected sole is then attached. The bottom is then edge-trimmed for the final look after which our client can step into their creation to check the fitting.
